My Dog Aspen

Aspen is a chesapeake bay retriever. She is brown with a big head, broad shoulders, a very muscular body, and a curly top coat along her back. She has a very unique personality, very quirky and fun to be around! She loves the water and is an excellent swimmer. Somedays we go down to the pond and she will play for hours. One of her favorite things to do is stick her nose barely under the water and blow bubbles. My dad says she looks like an alligator. :) Her full registered name is Spinnakers Payne In The Aspen. She is a little over a year old now. She was born Oct 2, 2009. She is getting better and better at hunting pheasants all the time. This year she will begin competing in AKC trials and in 4H. I am really looking forward to the year to come with all its surprises as our journey begins!
